We were in transit to the south of France and stayed here for 1 night in Woody Lounge.
Besides the very clean, hygienic and beautifully maintained house, the location was also very top.
Too bad it was no longer available during the return trip. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Location. Just off the Autoroute, it was easy to find and the village location was both beautiful and quiet.
The food served at the Auberge was fabulous and certainly good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The restsurant, bar and breakfast room are lost in time! Brilliant from our oerspective i should add!! We loved the old world ambience.

I would describe L'antilope as informal and friendly.Reception was closed when we first arrived with notes about room allocations and keys in the doors.Staff were very friendly and welcoming.Interior decor was attractive , well furnished, comfortable beds, large bathroom.We were in the studio which had a fridge, sink, hob, table and chairs. It would have been great for a longer stay but without Wi Fi (a regional problem) Family room was hot with only one working fan but attractively furnished, double rooms were good.Restaurant was excellent, good menus, including childrens' ,good wine list.
Situated amidst the forest in Montboulan, the B&B Hôtes de Montboulan is set in a chateau dating from 1850. Bikes are available to borrow for free and a continental breakfast is served every day.

It was a beautiful classic French house - somewhere I'd love to live
Always a dream to stay in a chateau with a moat, and Chateau de Souesmes was a beautifully romantic stay, with all the charm and none of the false modernisation (yet everything was perfectly comfortable and in excellent working order!) that ruins the character of a place like this.
In addition the breakfast was fabulous (and fabulously and graciously served!) Thank you!
Extraordinary surroundings, quite different from other B&B's or hotels you may be used to. Staff (owner and his wife) were very friendly. If you like home made jams and marmelade, you will love this breakfast. Definitely a good place to remember.
