Audrey and Mickael were great hosts and made our stay very special !!
We were travelling to attend the 33rd Circuit Historique de Laon … and they were most helpful in accommodating our classic car and transport trailer securely.
Many thanks Audrey and Mickael !!

Just north of busy Reims. Lovely village setting. Superb friendly hosts. Excellent reasonable food. Immaculate, clean, comfortable rooms. Very good value. We loved everything about this place.

We booked here because we had already stayed at the Domaine De Barive a month before and wanted to try this place. However, as soon as we booked we were called and told we would stay at the Domaine instead. I think that they use this place as a sort of overflow. At the Domaine we were given a much nicer room than the previous time. On Booking a night at each place that night cost the same except at the Priuré breakfast was included, so we stayed in the Domaine with breakfast and were very happy. It is a very nice place. By the way the prices at these two places vary a lot depending on the night in question.

Jan's cooking was exceptional throughout the stay. Both Jan and Nathalie were exceptional hosts - friendly and attentive and always happy to chat. A beautiful house with the added bonus of a room set aside for selling antiques!

Le Presbytere is off the beaten track, in a small village. If you are looking for a peaceful, stylish environment, with roses round the door, in a genuine French village, this is it. There aren't any restaurants in the village, but Laurence produces a delightful supper, with a modest wine list from the region. Highly recommended.

Sévigny-Waleppe is a small village with virtually no facilities - an épicerie near the property with basic foods - but early on a Tuesday morning, the bread that they had in stock wasn't available as it had been pre-ordered! The village's one great feature for travellers is Le Presbytère.
We spent a day visiting the small city of Laon, which was enjoyable, with an impressive cathedral (and an excellent hypermarket!), and others would enjoy visiting Reims and the champagne country which are easily accessible. Calais is less than 3 hours' drive away, which makes the location excellent for those travelling from or to England.
