Love, love, love O' de Caps! A fantastic little maisonette just one road behind the seafront at Sangatte hosted by Cedric. I loved the garden and the total peace and quiet (best night's sleep I have had for ages) and my son loved the basketball hoop. Really good power shower, all you need in the kitchen, good wifi and easy parking too.

lovely 1st floor apartment well equipped with direct access to the beach from the property. the terrace is excellent and a real sun trap. secure parking on site. we had lots of items (jam Nutella tea coffee butter! and milk) left for the morning and the bakers is literally across the road .

Sangatte was very pleasant. Due to the fact we visited at the beginning of April it really suited our needs. Huge sandy and well maintained beach, which at times were practically empty. We had two dogs and it was perfect for long walks however I understand that as from April 15th until October dogs are not permitted on the beach which is a great shame.
It is a short drive to the local supermarket which was very handy as we were self catering.
Sangatte is a short drive from Calais which is a great bonus and within easy reach to get to other well known places of interest.

Beach and more beach - absolutely beautiful!
Beach and more beach - absolutely beautiful! But I was very disappointed at the lack of any facilities - impossible to even buy an icecream…. No supermarket, one restaurant (expensive), no cafe’s - nowhere to go,,,,,
We were only there for one night in March so it is hard to fully rate a property. However, for what we needed- a place to stay so we were well-positioned to go on the Eurotunnel the next day, after having travelled up from the south- it was perfect. It was warm and clean and the kitchen meant we didn't have to think about going out for food but could cook ourselves. Sangatte has a lovely beach so nice to be able to stretch the legs. And, there is an Auchan up the road in Coquelles for last minute shopping. Wifi worked well.
We had a fantastic stay.
The rooms are classic and very nicely decorated and ours had a great view of the sea. We even got a free upgrade from the owners because the room was free.
The hotel is located in the second row to the sea and has a reasonably quiet location despite its proximity to the main road.
Extra bonus: The hotel has a charging station for electric cars, where you can charge for 10€ per day.
We definitely recommend the hotel and would love to come back anytime!
The staff was very friendly, gave us good recommendations and explained all the practical details very well. We felt taken care of. The room was very neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. We had an issue with the TV which the staff resolved easily and quickly. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good! Delicious, steaming pot of mussels, with homemade fries and homemade mayo. Delightful!

Great location in a nice area of Calais. The apartment is great with a really nice touch. It’s a close walk to the Sangatte beach and a lot of services in the area. There is also parking available right on the property.
