The chateau was sympathetically restored and we were delighted with everything - the location, our room and the amazing building. The staff, especially Patricia were very friendly, kind and welcoming and clearly did their best consistently. The food was exceptionally good value and we were even served wine from Chateau Julie vineyards. What a delight and a rare find!

From arriving at Les rives de Port Neuf, everything was amazing! Laurent, the host was on the end of the phone to deal with my arrival, Lionel then arrived and was brilliant along with the lady in company with him. Friendly, relaxed and full of a chuckle!
The house is seriously right on the banks of the Dordogne, so tranquil you are relaxed as soon as you arrive. Laurent was then above and beyond, a great friendly approach making you feel a guest and not a paying customer! The house itself has everything you need, is amazingly comfortable and I would highly recommend this accommodation to all! Great job!
