The rural location with horses, cows, chickens, cats and a dog to look at. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we would like recommend the place to others wanting a quiet retreat close to the Vendee coast. There was a good, reasonably priced Italian restaurant in the local village.

A comfortable hotel with secure bicycle storage for long-distance cyclists riding the Velodyssee Euro Velo cycle route. The buffet breakfast is excellent and of good quality. Close to restaurants and all amenities the hotel is an ideal stop-over and highly recommended. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and would certainly stay again.

Very quirky hotel in a lovely quiet, pretty location. It was nice to have chance to use the pool after travelling in hot weather.

Nice comfy rooms around a sunny courtyard, excellent communal spaces including a kitchen. Good breakfast, 2 minutes from beach with cafes and restaurants. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff.

Set just 10 minutes away from the Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie Beach, Camping Bellevue is located in Le Fenouiller and offers self-catering mobile homes.

Excellent staff, good fun for the kids and good location to pop to St Gilles and the beach/restaurants. We were the only Brits on site I reckon but despite couple of language issues (our fault!) Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend!
