On approaching the hotel for the first time, it is clearly a jewel of a location. It as very peaceful, and calming. The breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal was good, if a little pricey. The staff were very helpful, see point below. The black cat was quick to say hello. Fantastic area, lots to see and do.

We chose the ground floor room because it was the old house features in situ. It was extremely comfortable and had all the mod cons expected from a great hotel.

Great location for visiting this lovely town and The Abbey. The room was very clean and set out well to met our needs.
Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating especially considering our poor French! Breakfast was very good.
Located on Saint-James’ Way and set in an old property, Le Compostelle offers a terrace and en suite rooms with a flat-screen, satellite TV. The breakfast room features a panoramic view of the garden....
The rooms are big, fresh despite the very hot weather and there is a big parking place, reserved to the hotel. The reception is in the bar on the other side of the road.
