Location overlooking lake was excellent for us. Only issue is having to drive into St Pardoux for an evening meal, where both restaurants impressed. (Can do 20 min walk to campsite restaurant when it's open, I guess further into season.) House is tranquil, very nicely done inside and with terraces and fruit trees. Parking is tight as others have said. Good breakfast and hospitality is above and beyond. Thank you Carolynn and David !

We have stayed many times before. Bed is comfortable and it’s quiet. The shower is good , plenty of towels. The owner takes great care with laundry - always plenty of towels and we love the linen bed sheet.
Nicely situated for a walk into Bessines.
Madame is very welcoming, the food is simple but very good especially the omelettes served in the evening. The waiter is terrific and very efficient - everything served with a smile

St Pardoux is a welcoming small town, in close proximity to.the excellent Lac Saint Pardoux; which has beaches, watersports, fishing and walking. And plentiful shady free parking. The town is attractive with 2 good bar restaurants, small supermarket, boulangerie and weekly market.
