We had an evening meal when we arrived which was Pumpkin soup followed by Duck with potatoes. We were not given a price for the meal but knew we would be hard pressed to find anywhere else to eat so just said yes ok.
The soup was very nice my main was quite tough my husband enjoyed his. The wine was overpriced and everything seemed to be centred on the man who was wearing a basque beret.
Breakfast was not good tables too close together and the plates of cheese and ham were not being restocked so we didn’t have much at all.
Set in superb and verdant grounds at the foot of the Pyrenees, the Château D’Orion offers a peaceful backdrop for a relaxing holiday and charming accommodation.

Just the most beautiful location…. And the evening meal was absolutely astonishing!! All produce sourced locally and from the garden, it was one of the best meals I have ever had.
