We turned up and they claimed our booking didn’t exist, despite having an email discussion with them 6 months prior about checking in early. They were then “fully booked” meaning we had no where to stay.

The location felt further out of town than i had thought from the map, and when i opened the gate I met a tame goat and there were other lovely animals. The swimming pool is not huge but what a view as you swim! Pool was clean and nice to use. V close to the flat.
The young woman who let us in was really helpful and friendly. She was v insistent to tell us all we needed to know and ensure we were happy.

The studio apartment has a large very comfortable Murray bed; the whole place is very stylish with all facilities you could want - and more. The position is gorgeous and so peaceful right by La Loire (which we are following on our bikes source to sea).
Our hosts were really lovely and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome, providing dry storage for our bikes, and making sure we had refreshments in the evening. We would have loved to stay another day and take the opportunity to use Stephane’s canoe on the Loire and visit Veronique’s artist studio near by.
