This was a beautiful place to stay. A lovely little Pyrenean village, like Saint Jean Pied du Port but without the crowds. There was a large welcoming lounge with a log fire. Madame spoke three languages effortlessly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. There was a lovely feel to the place and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. Finally - the best breakfast in the world!

The hotel claimed to have EV charging facilities but this turned out to be an outdoor plug socket which was open to the elements and would have taken 30 hours for a full charge. There were no other charging points nearby.

We've stayed many times and it is great to see the hotel has come through Covid unscathed. The family running the hotel are very welcoming and the food is excellent. In particular the traditional french potage (which is difficult to find these days) is highly recommended!. The situation of the hotel is rural and relaxing. One of the many delights is eating out in the terrace under the plain trees.
This hotel is full of charm and character. Perfectly located on the side of a river, at the end of a gorgeous village, you will be seduced by the typically French and beautifully furnished rooms. The secluded swimming pool is stunning too. The food is perfect, with locally sourced products and the owners and staff couldn't be nicer. We loved everything about this hotel and we can't wait to come back
Our family enjoyed a wonderful 3 days at this hotel and were so impressed by the friendly staff, modern and clean room, delicious food at restaurant and the beautiful and peaceful scenery. I highly recommend this hotel for families. You can even take hikes directly from the hotel. Everyone that worked at the hotel was so friendly and helpful.
The town is charming and a lot quieter and easier than nearby St Jean Pied Port. A good place to stay if you are visiting the latter. The hotel is a converted villa with high ceilings and provides a shared kitchen with full cooking facilities and a large garden with games, outdoor eating area etc. Would suit a family holiday.
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Our room was right over the river rushing with early-April snowmelt. The sunset and sunrise made for great photos.
The food was incredible, both at dinner and at breakfast. That was quite honestly the best breakfast I've ever had and the gourmet dinner was memorable.
Truly excellent hosts. Very friendly, even shared their dinner with me as I was traveling alone. Incredibly friendly, wonderful cozy rooms and very peaceful. If I am ever back this way it's homebase for sure. Owner is an American expat and her French and English are suberb.
What a fairy tale : coming back late at night to this charming hotel after a dinner out and seeing the owners' family playing cards in the kitchen after a long day of honest work.
Fabulous people, spectacular location, true charm, movie like setting.
It was a stopping of point in our journey before we crossed the border into Spain. The room was very small and unfortunately the balcony at the front of the hotel was directly above the kitchen where the fishy smells where very prominent.
Such a wonderful place, we highly recommend this gem. It is truly French, family and excellent cuisine. We were blown away by the family staff and the hotel itself.
Merci Madame
Nice new room, in a lovely little town. Super clean and remodeled with updated bathroom! We had a great dinner at the restaurant there, too. Great storage for our bikes.
we have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 12 years and have always had a very good experience from our stay. A lovely family run establishment
