This is my second stay at Auberge des Pins as I seem to pass through Sabres during my cycling adventures in the area (this time Pau to Bordeaux mini break). It never disappoints: Bike friendly place, friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with view to green quiet garden/park. And the restaurant is, without a doubt, the best in town!

Dominik & Seba were super welcoming despite us arriving by bike 2 hours early and being the only guests on site. They provided us with an excellent board of charcuterie, free use of the jacuzzi and pool and even invited us into their home for a first-rate breakfast the following morning as the weather wasn't nice. A beautiful spot, great value and lovely hosts - what more could one ask for! Thank you.

Our high ceiling room was in the outhouse - tucked away at the back of the huge garden!
When we arrived, our host jumped on his bicycle to make sure the Bistro wasn't closing before we had our diner! ;-)
