Because 2 of jan the restaurant was closed we were advised to visit
Bistro de Casino, 5 minutes by car.
In the dark not easy to drive, but on the parking in front of the casino building what way to go ?
Finally the someone came to show us the way along three times deep down stares in the dark !
You better never advise this place in winter and rain. We found it very dangerous.
The staf did not tell us te have a front door key coming back, so we had to nock on a window.
Furthermore, lovely hotel.

Arrived late, so was given a code to enter that never worked, it took 30minutes plus to get into hotel. That was the best part. As the hotel was awful, and the hallways and rooms stank of smoke. The room pictures are taken in wide angle to make them look bigger, they were the smallest rooms I’ve ever seen, and I mean small box room size. It’s without doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. I know it’s budget hotel but it was worse than a hostel, and with the smell of smoke both in hallways and rooms, it was impossible to stay. We had three rooms and all left within one hour of checking in. There is no way we could have slept there. Not even for one night. Shocking.

Good central location. Nice little apartment - well-furnished and equipped. Really good fridge - we didn't self-cater but it would have been a good place to do that. Plenty of nice cafes nearby - but we ate at the Michelin starred restaurant Ste Walfrid, a short walk along the river. One excellent reason for staying here.
