Room was nothing like the one I booked..it was cold, dark and more like a prison cell.,bed was like concrete, bathroom small and grotty, the terrace in the picture looked like a different hotel to the one there, my Son left, wouldn't stay...staff thought it was a marvellous room! Obviously used to low standards. We stayed there in 2014, we had a lovely big room with a good ensuite, What a difference from when the previous owner Patrice ran the place. A dump is all I can refer to it as now.

Run by a pleasant and helpful husband and wife team, this traditional hotel makes a good stopover. Set beside a very quiet rural road, there is hardly any traffic at night and we had a peaceful sleep. Dinner was good and we believe all the food is home made. The cassoulet cooked by Monsieur was delicious. Breakfast was good too, with generous choices on offer which were far more than we could eat.
It's unlikely that you'll be able to park immediately outside the hotel, but there's plenty of free off-road parking accessed from the road just opposite.
The only thing to be aware of is to read the room descriptions closely. The pool-view and garden-view rooms have an en-suite shower, but no toilet. There's one loo at the end of the corridor. For this reason, we upgraded to a "chambre supériere".

Where to start! Everything was just beautiful. From the pool, the view and the lovely room. It was so relaxing.
My partner and I just stayed the night but we wish we could have stayed longer. Regine cooked us the most delicious meal! My partner even said, it was the highlight of our holiday. It was so special. We really hope to visit again in the future. Thank you Regine and your lovely dog Filou xx

Superbly equipped (two outside tables, lots of crockery). Excellent modern bedroom and bathroom. Betty and Herman are wonderful, helpful, hosts. The swimming pool looks to be large - unfortunately it rained all week and it had to remain under its cover. It’s a short walk into the wonderful village of St Julien De Lampon with its bakery, butcher, small supermarket and bar.

Beautiful decor and thoughtful use of original and modern furnishings, both inside and outside. Etienne and Herve were wonderful, caring and attentive hosts with a great eye for detail, and to top it off, their two dogs were a gorgeous addition to a wonderful night's stay. Breakfast was perfectly delicious capping a wonderful stay.
