Really lovely rooms with great attention to detail. You can feel the hosts love for guests and their vintage style really made me feel at home. I would definitely stay here again.

A nice old town with a lot of cultural activities - especially the annual International Festival of Folklore over several days culminating in a performance of all the countries (usually on a big stage in the Museum Gardens). It has to be seen to be believed !

Breakfast very good for French standards. Small bathrooms. Lacking nightime reading lamps but that might be due to renovation. Price higher than agreed with Booking.com but we're used to that in France. The difference was not tremenduous but it is irritating. The French 'hospitality' industry has forgotten a long time ago about 'hospitality'. Just like 'joie de vivre' commonly assocated with France can only be found in history museums.
Saying this, the staff themselves in this hotel were ok.
The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and kind, and they are also the owners of the best restaurant in town -Le Dandy - highly recommend this hotel and that restaurant, you will not regret it! Everything was perfect at both - clean; beautiful buildings with stylish, modern and practical interiors; the owners made us feel very comfortable and at home; and exceptional food cooked and served by the owners themselves at their restaurant. Thank you!
As an interior designer for hotels and restaurants, I loved the sweet and quirky aesthetics, which seemed to match that of the town itself. It had more than I needed as a solo traveler. I felt comfortable and safe. Walking distance to everything, including a fabulous vegan restaurant that the owner showed me. Easy walk from the train station and everywhere else. Better than a sterile hotel for sure!
Location, quality of accomodation, and mostly the exceptional hospitality of the owner. Sylvie was very amiable and we spoke about many subjects in French - an excellent opportunity to practice and also interesting. It’s the kind of opportunity that is unavailable in a (more expensive hotel) and I’d encourage every traveller to stay here and at equivalent places on their trips.

There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets around the Hotel
Stuff was very nice and kind
The Bed was really comfortable and we could rest well
Parking costs 1€ an hour but only until 19:15h + there are a lot of parking possibilities around the hotel.
The breakfast was good. We had also two dinners at the hotel and the quality of the food was really good. The wines we chose were good, too. The staff was really friendly. We had the hotel conference hall as a storage room for our bikes and we appreciate it a lot.
The technology on the room. There is even a remote to change the light color temperature. The garden and the room decoration was beautiful. They were able to merge very well the architecture of an older mansion with luxury of recent hotels.
great location, a few mins walk from the old town. Many restaurants and bars close by. The lady running the hotel is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. Amazing value for money!
