It was the best surprise we had in years. The surroundings are from fairytales, the building is renovated in great taste, comfort and functionality, the entire experience was so peaceful and lovely that it's difficult to describe in words. We had the best sleeping experience of our lives, with the river sound on the background and the incredibly fresh air of the wild nature coming through the window.
it was truly a therapy against stress, we felt renewed and improved after just 1 night. We'll surely return for longer therapy!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Lovely rooms in a beautiful house in a tranquil location. Unbelievable food that at €27 including wine was wonderful and as mentioned in other reviews a breakfast like no other. So much fresh local produce, stunning!

Heidi and Nick are great hosts from the welcome to the end of our stay providing us with lots of information about the animals and butterflies on the land. We’re vegetarian and vegan. Heidi prepared nutritious breakfasts for us each morning without animal products. The rooms are nicely decorated and the atmosphere is cozy.

A lovely property with the utmost friendly hosts. A beautiful surrounding with lots of animals; A horse, A mule, donkeys and cute piglets. We were received with open arms, a glass of lovely wine and a delicious meal. The rooms are super cute and very clean.

If you are staying at Moulon de Pensol, bring along some food to make your evening meals as the local restaurants are very hot and miss when they open. We visited the market in Piegut-pluviers to get some local produce and it was wonderful.
The whole atmosphere of the Moulin is so chilled...we could have stayed there for months, unfortunately we were there for just 2 nights. We plan to re visit in March 2020 on our next house hunting trip

we are cyclists, and booked this holiday to explore the roads and get the most out of discovering the area, the roads were excellent and the area beautiful and quiet to explore by road. the gites and the hosts were very helpful in booking our restaurants and also picking us and our bike boxes from the airport. there are lots of lovely places to eat, but the restaurants normally close in the evenings early and in August so our hosts had a particular challenge finding us places to eat in the evening, but they went out of there way to do this and succeeded every night, finding lovely eateries within cycling distance after a long day in the saddle!! We cannot thank them enough for making our stay so perfect. The plunge pool was also a special treat as we were there during the hottest June on record!
