Wonderful hosts, gorgeous house, close to Briançon but far away enough to feel like your away from it all, amazing climbing and hikes close by, plenty of walks from the house too!
Our stay at La Paille was very nice. The location is great to discover the region of Pelvoux, do hikes, rafting and via ferratas. The host is very nice and helpful, and we met very nice guests when cooking in the common kitchen.
We had a nice room with a balcony and view to the mountains. The hotel has a restaurant which is excellent, the food was really good. The location is also great, around 10 km by car to any of the nice hiking trails.
