The staff were very helpful, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast was varied and there was a lot of choice. The town is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

We loved the restaurant though only open the first night, beautiful property & grounds though very quiet other than road noise. Food in restaurant was the best, wish it was open more as closed Tues & Wed.

Located on the outskirts of Sélestat this hotel is an absolute gem.
It is quiet and serene, lots of nature around. The house is well kept and doesn’t lack of anything.

Muttersholtz is located close to the city of Selestat and pretty much in the middle of the Alsace province. For our trip we wanted to visit sites in Obernay, Eguisheim, Colmar, Ribeauville, Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr, among a few others along the way. Muttersholtz is perfectly situated for this endeavor: Most of our day trips had an average travel time of 30 minutes (one way) and the village itself is a beautiful and restful sight, always nice upon returning from our excursions.
For travelers travelling by car, this is a wonderful place to use either as described above, or as a stopover point to recharge for one or two days before moving on.
Would recommend easily and without hesitation.
