Super place ! Room was great and direct access to outdoor space. Guests are also allowed to use the garden and there is lovely pool as well. Unfortunately we were only there for one night but would have enjoyed to stay a few days more.

Fantastic host who turned out to be a sensational cook. She provided delicious meals in her fantastic, quirky and yet beautiful hotel that is located in a wonderful romantic and ideallic French village. It’s like something out of a movie.

This is a rustic, well worn, traditional, privately run hotel in a small but very pleasant rural village. The hotel is the cafe, bar, tabac, restaurant (and hotel) for the village. It is an old story book hotel! Everything happened in the few days we stayed. A phenomenal thunderstorm overnight with some flooding, tree damage and power outage for village. Power came back for breakfast but went off again in afternoon into the night so cooking impossible. Owner confirmed power was on at town of Pons a few miles away so we had to go and dine there. Final day quite uneventful..The family was great and rallied round to look after their guests

Access to a huge balcony extending the whole width of the hotel (hence the hotel's name). Lovely views across the Place de la Republique to the castle and castle park. A lovely place with super friendly people. Organised a taxi for me to pick up my car, which was brilliant. A great setting and super helpful. A nice open air bar on the site too, which saved the driving as it's a bit far out - though close to some beautiful villages. Highly recommended.
