We’ve stayed several times. It’s a great first stop after coming through the tunnel when heading south

The room was much larger than I had expected, which was fantastic. Well laid out with plenty of space for suitcases, etc. The bed was a great size, and very comfortable. Extra bedding and pillows were available. Loved that there was a bathtub, especially as the weather was freezing and we had a long drive prior to arrival. Staff were friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty. We enjoyed breakfast as well.
The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful! Nicolas also arranged an amazing champagne dégustation for us with a grand cru producer otherwise unknown to us (Simon Michelot) - amazing stuff. The town of Matougues is rather sleepy, but you're close to the Côte des Blancs and so many other great places. A car is practically necessary though. Nicholas's tip sheet is excellent...
Had a lovely stay in a family room. Very nice hotel, great food, good wines. Clean and nicely decorated room. Enjoyed heated swimming pool and little garden. Very convenient location, free parking. Very friendly and accommodating staff. would definitely recommend this place!
In spite of being adjacent to a main road the hotel was quiet. A well landscaped courtyard was a lovely place to relax with an aperitif! The effect of COVID has diminished the menu of the restaurant which used to be renowned for its use of truffle.
The hotel bedrooms are located on the ground floor, around an open courtyard with plants and shrubs. This is immediately accessible from the car parking bays which makes luggage handling much easier. The restaurant facilities and food are excellent.
The hotel was adorable and a fantastic value for the money. We stayed in a family suite and the children loved that their rooms were in an upstairs room with separate twin beds. the reception and staff were very accommodating.
Excellent hotel , restuarant and breakfast
Did not have our dog but some guests did.Great for them as bedrooms lead out onto a courtyard on ground floor.Perfect.Would certainly recommend.
Lovely room, lovely quiet hotel in a small village and even though on a main road it was very quiet.
The restaurant was outstanding with the food delicious and served by great staff.
