Throughout the year there are multiple horse events, check the calendar, we went to a horse jumping event which was free. The town is very walkable and the train to Paris is easy. We love Creperie La Bonne Humeur for lunch or dinner.

Being based in Maisons Laffite was great for travelling into central Paris. (15-20 minutes by RER train)
The village of Maisons Laffitte is beautiful. Friendly too.

I lived at Maisons-Laffite (ML) for almost an year during...
I lived at Maisons-Laffite (ML) for almost an year during 2007. It´s a hidden jewel of Countryside French life-style, just about half an hour train/metro (RER A) from Paris center.
The city is really small, but equipped with great samples of the most exquisite of French (and international) food.
The city is named the "Horse´s City", so there are plenty of chances around these, including biking thru incredible paths, including the Forest from Saint Germain en Laye, the joins ML to the forme Royal City.
You can enjoy nature at just 30min from Paris, switching from one to the other.
I ate at the City´s restaurant but also picked a nice variety of cheeses, charcouterie, wine and a fresh baguette and enjoy a great pic-nic at the Park.
From Maisons-Laffite Castle´s gardens you can appreciate La Defense; a very iconic way of feeling close to Paris yet in the peace of the super-green and cool parks of ML´s neighbourhood.

Big outside private parking place. You can easily set the temperature in the room. The location is quiet, in a quite neighborhood. You have market and bistros 10 minutes walking towards the rail station.
Rail station is 10-15 minutes walking, the train will take you straight to the city. Add 20min to your train journey because you are far from Paris. Remember when you return from Paris to hotel, you need to be earlier in the train, don't be late otherwise you might miss the train.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were also really good at communicating in simple French, so that we had no trouble understanding everything. Really exceptionally good staff.
There is secure bicycle parking and the hotel is quite literally on the local bike path (or at least some of the entry decorations are).
Beds are comfortable and the shower is great.
We have stayed here multiple times, and will stay again. The train to Paris is so easy and I find it much more relaxing to stay in Maison Laffitte than Paris. We stayed in the family room which accommodated four nicely. We had dinner in the hotel, the menu is small, but we were all happy with the food. We were even able to walk and see a horse jumping competition.
Nice and small hotel in a village. Quiet area. Enough space for car, free parking. Good stay if you want to explore Paris city and surrounding areas by car. Beauvais from 1 h drive & Versailles 25 minutes. Trainstatoin to go to city (RER-Charles de Gaulle-Etoile) by walking distance. Decent breakfast with enough choices to everyone. Clean rooms and cosy beds.
Beautiful clean, safe flat in a great location of Maisons Laffitte! Check in was extremely easy. The outside deck is beautiful to enjoy sunrise/sunset while listening to the church bells which ring throughout the day - very pastoral.
Second stay at the Quality Suites...highly recommend. Clean and functional. Delightful staff. Room size good with fridge and microwave if required. Maisons-Laffite is a lovely suburban Parisian town with good access into the city.
Nice and comfortable room. Big parking on a side, no extra charges. Very beautiful town of Maisons Laffitte. Good for visiting Paris, only 20 minutes ride with the RER train. Lots of restaurants and shops.
Good experience with the hotel. It meets the standard of Quality hotels across the World. However, they should put a small couch in the room which guests can sit on to watch TV or rest.
