We loved the setting of the château. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The room was functional and very good value for price. With a little fixer- upper it would be very good. We ate in the beautiful restaurant. Very clean and well lit with very crisp and white tablecloths and napkins. The meal was ABSOLUTELY delicious. The best truffle risotto ever, The famous Bresse chicken to perfection and a dessert of tulle with mascarpone cream and amaretti cherries was to die for!! I’m not surprised it was full with residents and non- residents- even in a Wednesday!! Breakfast was standard but I was still full from the night before so it was just right for me.

Breakfast (an additional 8 €) was more than adequate, The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The owner brought me a boiler as I like to have a coffee when I wake up before showering and going to breakfast. Within walking distance to everything in the center, especially the Monday market.

The property location was perfect for us, we could just park the car and walk into town. The room was really spacious and clean and the host was so welcoming and helpful - he came to meet us and highly recommended a restaurant to us (La Toque Blanche, it was excellent).
