Pleasant but breakfast was disappointing. Also, we had a problem we were trying to resolve and sent 3 emails to ask for help. It was to get keys back to the UK. They did not answer.

The location and the lake view in the restaurant and lobby were very scenic. The people at the desk were very friendly. Although restaurant is closed on Sunday (not on website?) we could preorder some salads and they were served well. Parking was also OK,

Our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and made us feel at home. They even shared some local wine with us. The "petit déjeuner" breakfast was awesome. It included jam & yogurt made by Patricia. They renovated the house which they purchased some years ago, very tasteful and functional, keeping some off the original structure. Our bedroom was very spacious with a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. One needs a car to get to the gîte. It's near a beautiful lake, worth going for a stroll. We would go back to this gîte should we pass by again, perhaps for few more days as it is so relaxing. Thank you Patricia!

Everything was really clean and the shower was fantastic - we really appreciated this. Kettle and toaster provided (a kettle is essential for the Brits to make tea!) and lots of crockery / cutlery, plus washing-up things. We could park at the end of the road for free (although I don't think this is possible on Friday and Saturday nights).

The location was perfect for us to spend the night between our holiday address and our home address. The staff (English speaking) was very friendly and the dinner was superior. A typical French breakfast. The room is very modern, equipped with a lovely shower and a good bed.
