The breakfast was a nice surprise because the room service menu was very basic. There was a good selection of cheeses and meats plus hot eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Dinner was OK.The location of the hotel is very good, just a short walk into the town. We had a room overlooking the ramparts, which was very pleasant. Car parking is directly in front of the hotel and is free.

Hosts could not have been kinder. They offered to let us stay an extra night and transport us to the next day's destination when it looked as if it might be too wet and flooded to cycle. Fortunately the rain stopped and we were able to continue on bicycles as planned.

We were cycling and were able to put our bikes in a secure room to keep them safe - thank you to the staff. Also, we arrived late and left early next morning, and the staff kindly allowed us to have breakfast earlier than normal. There was also a good restaurant right next to the hotel - ideal!
