What a treasure to find Chez Black & White. Marc & Nicole were very warm and welcoming. My room was so beautiful and the bathroom with both bath and shower a real bonus. I loved to sit and listen to the birds in the surrounding woodland. Breakfast with fresh croissants and a nice chat set me up for the day. Marc was very patient with my limited french😉 It was a very special place and I sincerely want to return soon.

The owners bent over backwards to ensure I enjoyed my stay. They offered to drive me to the nearest restaurant (since there isn't one in town), and when they discovered it would be closed on the evening of my visit, they offered to make me a homemade meal. The room is spacious and very tastefully decorated, and the gorgeous smell of natural oils pervades the room. It was a very pleasant stay.

We loved this place. It was spacious and quirky with places for every mood and every type of weather. Laurent was very welcoming and helpful when we had a bit of a problem with the TV he came over to help and sorted it.( that mattered as we wanted to watch a World Cup rugby game!!) We loved th e upstairs and downstairs kitchens too!

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite and went over and above. The location of the property was excellent with the most amazing views of Carcassonne . On arrival, we were upgraded to a luxury room. The room had a lovely balcony with amazing views of the Carcassonne old town . The food was amazing and so were the waiters or extremely friendly and bending over backwards to give us what we asked for . The breakfast also was very good. The whole stay was extremely pleasurable and relaxing, it’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in a hotel like this with everything and I mean everything was fantastic !!
