We loved going to the Bar du Soleil for rosé and beer, the Salon de Thé for coffee and tea with a croissant and chocolate cookie, but also to a bar on the Route National of which we forgot the name but has green coloured windows.
We ate at Le Pitou and Le Petit Freinet. It was delicious French food.
It is very easy to get around as The Nut House is very well situated in La Garde-Freinet. Walking distance to everything to soak up the French life.

It was our second stay. We loved it the first time and still do. Due to it's "remote" location the venue offers a lot of
tranquillity. Even if I write remote La Garde-Freinet is close by and offers everything you need. The ocean is only a short drive away. So you have best of both: Quietness if you want it and the ocean close by.
this lovely family run hotel is one of our best discoveries in the South of France. Everything is made with love, attentive, kind and friendly owners, very tasty breakfasts and dinners. Close to Saint Tropez. Great pool. Everything about this place was great. It was very sad to leave. We recommend 100%.
The hosts, Mariethé and Christian, were really attentive and friendly. The highlight of the accommodation was the garden, carefully taken care of, with plenty of flowers, a clean pool and a beautiful view of La Garde-Freinet.
Breakfast very good, croissants & pain au chocolat just the best I never ate.
Location, staff, design & comfort of rooms.
Design of the hotel.
