The breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was cold, probably because the host asked what time we wanted breakfast and we said 9.00 am and then when we arrived he said where were you at 8.45?The host was brilliant when we had a battery failure on our vehicle, he went out of his way to drive us into Limoges to source a replacement battery, which we really appreciated.

The location of the hotel was good as was parking directly opposite the hotel - very reasonable. The room was small but adequate for one night stay, bed comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good served by I guess the owner who was most helpful.

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.
