We booked the accommodation “le cozy” for one night during a road trip. The accommodation itself is very nice and also very cozy and comfortably furnished and equipped. We received an excellent description of the location and still almost didn't find the accommodation because the house itself hardly looked habitable from the outside. This can perhaps be explained by the fact that further construction work is still planned. We were all the more positively surprised by the apartment itself. The owners have really made an effort here and you can trust the photos posted. The area itself seems quiet and somewhat deserted, but nature and hiking lovers will get their money's worth here, I guess.

Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike...
Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike up the local mountains. All relevant Col's are really close. The starts of the Col de Vars and Col de Risoul are just 5 to 10 minutes by bike from the town.
One thing to keep in mind is that in mid to late September, a lot of the restaurants are closing early (and fewer days open per week) and don't have all the food available that's on the menu as it's the end of the season for them.

We arrived very late, but the hotel was very helpful and re-assured us that the room would still be available. Everyone was super friendly, check-in procedure was easy, parking was easy to find next to the hotel. It's not the fanciest room, but you don't pay for a fancy room either, but you do get attention of people who care about you and who make the most of what they have. I'd definitely come back.
Great value for money. I think there is even a bus closeby, but in any case if you have a car you can easily access risoul, Guillestre and other places nearby. Simple but very clean studio, with everything you need, incl a parking in front of the house
We stayed for one night. The hotel was quiet, the room had all that was needed, wi-fi worked. Hotel staff was welcoming and kind, and they were able to accommodate our request to store our bicycles somewhere safe for the night.
Clean, comfortable, well equipped apartment. Convenient location, walking distance to Guillestre and well placed to access the ski stations of Risoul and Vars and the Queyras.
