This was the place where we wanted to be! Far from cars, concrete and people. The weather was still warm at the end of October it was great. We throughly enjoyed our time spent in and around this hotel. The breakfast was great and tasty on the terrace front of the sea!

Unfortunately our car broke down in Saints on our way and we were unable to use our reservation. We told the hotel one day in advance of our booking, who reviewed our cancellation for "exceptional circumstances" and decided we weren't entitled to any refund on the full fee. Despite this, they are still under the misconception we stayed with them and are asking us for a review!!!

Everything, loved the Chateau. Our room was beautiful so nicely decorated in the Provençal style, and very comfortable. Lovely countryside views. Really tasty dinner on the evening with good quality wines and cocktails.

The pool was great, a decent size and temp was good. The little breakfast for €8 was perfectly OK, good restaurant across the road and close to the amazing beach. Fully functional kitchenette.

A place out of time, an old village of fishermen with a lot of charme. The village has a concentric plant around the ruins of an old military tower, lying between swamps for salt extraction and the sea.

We travelled with our 2 dogs through France to Southern Spain so this was a stopover for us. The location and facilities were both great. The dogs loved the garden, and we the local wine grown at the Chateaux!

We drove a little round the area. Narbonne plage was more to our liking than Gruissan, only 20 min away.
Restaurants nice. Food good.
Plenty of nice wine yards with good local products.
Few spoke English, not a problem for us but if you speak any French it can be a little challenging. But you will manage.
Primarily French people which I find refreshing when I go to see somewhere else.
Not far to old cities in the area.
You need a car if you want to see something more than just Gruissan.

Gruissan marina is an attempt to duplicate the much larger resort of Cap d'Agde a few tens of miles up coast. While in Cap d'Agde they ended up spoiling the enormous sandy beaches environment building everywhere, they leaved this part mostly intact in Gruissan, which is much more balanced and still shows large patches of how was this region's seaside 40 years before. Old Gruissan town is more looking to the salty marshes and a certainly deserve attention. The whole place has some strongly endearing feelings.

The best thing about it was the setting in the midst of the natural Park. Great for cycling and walking with easy access to beaches.
We had lovely fresh seafood where ever we went. We particularly liked the wonderful fresh seafood at Le Cambuse de Saunier

Gruissan is a nice fishing village.
Gruissan is a nice fishing village. It has a big beach and nice areas to walk around. In the surrounding protected area you can see many species of wild birds (flamingoes, storks, etc.)
It is very close to Narbonne and Beziers.
Had such a perfect stay here for great value. Stephanie is an excellent host and knows the little things that make a good stay - the shower was amazing, nice towels, good air con. The breakfast was really special - lots of homemade products. We loved the rustic exterior and windows, and the location is perfect for strolling around the gorgeous old village centre. Stephanie was so helpful and personable. Thank you!
This our third stay at this lovely hotel and it’s as good as ever. The new owner Sebastian was very friendly and offered a warm welcome. Our room, the comfortable bed, air conditioning, the breakfast and the location in Gruissan village all excellent. Thank you
My work set up a team building exercise in Gruissan for a friday so I decided to make it a weekend out of it. This property was just perfect. Pet friendly, clean, quiet and welcoming. Close to where my meeting was so I could check on the pups during the day.
Location is fabulous, overlooking marina and especially loved the sunrise in the morning. Stunning!
Close walk to restraunts etc or a short drive to plage de chalets. Secure parking is great, and place was spotless.
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location, walking distance to all of the old town and the water. Breakfast was delicious, hosts were super helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again!
Fully equipped for a short stay in a location in the centre of the village within short walking distance of restaurants and shops. Busy but not noisy. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Location and facilities were both great for us as a stop over through France to Southern Spain. We travelled with our 2 nervous dogs who loved the gardens and the rooms were ideal.
