Staff all fantastic, as is the owner, and this would probably be the most of any ‘French countryside” stay that anyone could ever enjoy - just in the middle of a few fields, but all in easy drive distance to nearby towns.
Wonderful gardens, a small-ish but beautiful swimming pool, perfect play areas for kids or places just to sit and enjoy the scenery.
We ate in this totally rural hotel courtyard, yet on tables with beautiful white cotton tablecloths and napkins, and with superb quality food at a very reasonable. Breakfast also superb!
