We were welcomed by our family host and parked our car on site, within a few feet of the accommodation, which is in a small outbuilding attached to our host's residence and comprises a big main room (with sofa-bed, kitchen and a bathroom (both on the ground floor) and a bedroom up a wooden ladder staircase. Outside was a table and chairs where we could sit.
There's no cafe in Grainville but the next village of Fleury sur Andelle has one and also a bakery and a supermarket.
It's worth taking a stroll around Grainville - not far away from our accommodation is a 12th century church and an impressive "chateau" (manor house).

very beautiful place, feels like a castle for yourself. although access only given until 2nd floor, it was still very spacious for 2 adults and 1 child. they have nice garden with fruits, also toys and playground for children. we simply loved it staying there. few hundred meters walk to the nearest carrefour.
