Le Christiania Hotel & Spa is located in La Salle-les-Alpes in the Serre Chevalier 1400 ski resort and features a garden, spa and lounge area with a bar with a fireplace.
It is the best ski resort ever. We have been traveling to different ski resorts in Europe for the last 15 years and this place amazed us with slopes variety. The skiing was wonderful, we did not search for “good slope or best root” like we usually did on previous resorts because there are so many of them that could be called the best :). Thermal SPA is an excellent bonus!

The staff were very good and made us feel very welcome. I think there should have been another waiter on duty at dinner. Breakfast was lovely-even bacon and eggs if you asked. There was meat, cheese, fruit, juices, and lots of other items. Coffee good too. It was very quiet at night and dark. The terrace had a good view of the mountains.. Behind the hotel we took a walk along a grassy path which eventually led to the river-ideal for exercising a dog.
This is a budget friendly but basic hotel, which is conveniently located for the village shuttle bus.
The staff were friendly (though non-english speaking) and on a couple of notable occasions went out of their way to help us e.g. when my friend broke her knee, they came to collect her, as we had no car.
Rooms are comfortable but basic.
Nice Hotel in a very beautiful part of the world. We were able to park our motorbikes right in front of the hotel and were warmly greeted by Sophie, who provided us with coffee. The restaurant experience was nice and very convenient, meaning we didn't have to go anywhere else to eat.
Local food, local beer, fabulous hosts. A family run hotel with a fascinating history and superb surroundings both inside and out. They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the spa facilities were very welcome at the end of a long travel day
Everything was nice. Clean and tidy. Heating of the room is also cool and hot if you wish. Breakfast is worth to take at the hotel. Owner are nice and very welcome lady. Thanks, view from the window was fantastic
