Staff brilliantly, very efficient and friendly. quiet but in the centre and good for cycles
We loved the town, the people & the shops. The ice cream was delicious! The views were spectacular and I would certainly recommend visiting Domme, preferably out of season as it is quite busy even in September. Beautiful market on a Friday! A small car is recommended as streets are narrow. We ate at a nearby cafe & had dinner in a restaurant that offered outside seating & beautiful views.

Domme was a beautiful town.
Domme was a beautiful town. Out of season there is little open but you can see what a vibrant town it would be once the tourists arrive. In the few shops that were open everyone was very friendly and gave us tips of what to see and where to visit. There was an amazing book shop that was open. Even out of season it is a lovely town to wander around with one or two bars open for a coffee etc.

We have spent two hours in this village.
We have spent two hours in this village. We walked through a few streets, enjoyed the panoramic view over the river, visited the old Romanesque church, checked an antiquarian book shop (where our kids bought some English books), and stopped for pancakes in Gourmandises Café (with nice personnel and tasty food). We liked the atmosphere, which felt simultaneously historic and relaxed. One feels like in a fairy tale in this village. Fortunately, there were not many tourists at the end of October (despite the fall school vacations in France). In particular, one could easily park their car in the village without any difficulty. Then we continued our journey to the Marqueyssac gardens...

Domme was a wonderful city - close to sites, but quieter than many other popular cities in the area. We found wonderful restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. The view from the esplanade is amazing!
Everything..the house was beautiful decorated and so were the rooms. Breakfast was a very pleasing event with personal service from Jean-Michael . We felt at once at home. We became lots of information about the region were to eat and what to see. Pool and the areas round it were very nice. We definitely would stay at Hauts de Domme again . It is a place to remember. The only negative thing was, that we eventually had to leave
This is a unique property. It is more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. That is, the atmosphere is informal, and you have the opportunity to interact with your hosts and the other guests. Our room was extremely comfortable, including a marvelous bed. There are many places to sit from which to enjoy beauty of the natural surroundings. Our host Jane cooked an exquisite meal for us on one of the evenings of our stay.
Stunning location in a stunning village. We were given a room with big windows looking over miles of the valley. The terrace is beautiful and you feel very privileged as other tourists wander round. Staff were exceptionally friendly and genuine and even allowed my bike inside the hotel to charge overnight. Lovely stay. Thank you.
Christian is the beatiful host! Very polite, attentive. The territory and house are well maintained, clean, attractive. Bed linens like in 5 stars hotels. Pictures of the rooms and house match the reality fully. Very nice place with convenineces. Very tasty and various breakfast.
Whilst the hotel has no catering facilities, the kitchenette was very well supplied. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly. The Spa and Wine Bar, once open, will be fantastic! Room issues dealt with promptly.
