Beautiful historical building. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our meals were very good. The grounds are lovely, the pool area during summer would be nice.

It’s really difficult as a family of 5 to find a hotel room, even better is we were able to have a lovely evening meal which was really good value.

Fabulous place, beautiful pool area with hot tub.nice restaurant and very helpful staff.
We loved the rustic feel of the hotel. The host was very nice. I don’t recommend arriving after normal checkin times. It was hard to find in the dark. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It would have been wonderful to have spent more time in this hotel.

I was a handy and relaxed location for visiting tourist attractions. We ate in the hotel on both nights, the second being a light meal.
We had a delightful lunch at Petit-sur-Leon in the town of Leon which was superb and very memorable.

We liked the room, views and hotel grounds as it is a very pretty chateau in a fabulous location.lots of character but obviously the age of the building means some of the facilities are compromised by the building. The staff were friendly and welcoming. As the location is very rural you need to eat at the hotel, this may be an issue if you are vegetarian and even worse if you are vegan.
The property is amazing, beautifully located in the area, also make sure you have a visit to the small village of Condat-sur-Vezere.
The surrounding grounds are great, lots of space and a big pool.
Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful and delicious
Breakfast was excellent, we particularly liked the freshly made coffee[so many hotels now use machines]. Dinner was excellent every evening, with a good choice. The ambience is superb and made for a perfect stay.
