Wonderful location. We have stayed here a number of times and are already planning a return visit. Madame Roux is a great host and all meals are excellent.

The hotel was perfectly located to explore the region and Madam made it very welcoming and comfortable and couldn’t be more accommodating and kind as a host. The hotel rooms were perfect size for a three day stay, quiet and comfortable, daily service. Breakfast each morning was simple continental buffet with lots of choices and home made cake and fresh crepes (eggs too if you wanted). An excellent small hotel with real home stay feeling to it.

Incredible hotel building itself in a great location, super comfortable room and excellent bathroom with lovely toiletries and also wonderful staff. The on site restaurant is great too and surprisingly food value.

Super rural spot close to Montignac-Lascaux. Montignac is well worth an explorer as is of course a visit to Lascaux cave paintings. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful.
We loved the rustic feel of the hotel. The host was very nice. I don’t recommend arriving after normal checkin times. It was hard to find in the dark. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It would have been wonderful to have spent more time in this hotel.

We liked the room, views and hotel grounds as it is a very pretty chateau in a fabulous location.lots of character but obviously the age of the building means some of the facilities are compromised by the building. The staff were friendly and welcoming. As the location is very rural you need to eat at the hotel, this may be an issue if you are vegetarian and even worse if you are vegan.
The property is amazing, beautifully located in the area, also make sure you have a visit to the small village of Condat-sur-Vezere.
The surrounding grounds are great, lots of space and a big pool.
Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful and delicious
Breakfast was excellent, we particularly liked the freshly made coffee[so many hotels now use machines]. Dinner was excellent every evening, with a good choice. The ambience is superb and made for a perfect stay.
