Room is very small but was like the photos. Sink is outside of the bathroom. It is a basic room useful for a short stay like ours as it had a bathroom and a bed so that was all we needed. Good location and place to park right outside the hotel.

Terrific location! A very easy walk from the main train station, extremely convenient walk to the winter markets. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of items to choose from and plentiful. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean. My only negative is that the bed was a little firm for my liking, but I am noticing that most are firm here in France, and this is more a preference than a fault. I would definitely return and would recommend Hotel Mercury Colmar to anyone looking to visit Colmar, I had a wonderful stay!

Very small comfortable city with good sights and good food.
Very small comfortable city with good sights and good food. French or Alsace specialities are much hyped but if some meat with sauerkraut and flammkuchen are their flagship dishes, then they have a long way to go.

Colmar is a stunning old town that is easily walkable. It’s equally stunning at night. There are endless restaurants and places to have a drink.
It does get a bit noisy at night and I think more care must be taken by locals at night bombing through the streets after dark.

The old town itself is delightful, and the rather short but serene river boat ride not to be missed. The Tram ride is worthwhile...a bit bumpy, and in German, but the ride presents you with a sketch of which parts of the town are right for you to explore.
On the other hand, parking for the hotels in Old Town is awful...one has to park very far away and drag suitcases to the your hotel, unless your hotel has a person who, for a good tip, can do that for you. The city fathers should at least allow taxis to do this for tourists.

I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar.
I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar. I also love the location. I was able to visit several other fairytale villages in France and then go into Germany and Switzerland as well. The wine is better than I expected also.

It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit. It's so quiet and nice.
For dinner the restaurants are open from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or latest 10 pm.
Prices are a bit too high though. Around 25 euros only for the main dish for a person.
There are not coffee specialty places. Wherever I bought a cappuccino it was not the best, quite average I would say if you are a coffee lover.

Colmar is in a great location for people interested in the wineries of Alsace. We booked a private wine tour and visited several beautiful old villages and three wineries. I highly recommend this activity. We also highly recommend the Unterlinden Museum (the Issenheim Altarpiece is amazing) and the Bartholdi Museum. If you are able to prepare your own meals, the covered market in Colmar is a great place to shop for local foods and produce and it is located near Little Venice, so it's a scenic stroll. We took the bus to see the replica Statue of Liberty and I wouldn't recommend this activity unless you have a car. The statue is situated on an extremely busy roundabout so we were unable to get close to it - I'm really not sure how people on Instagram managed to get their amazing photos. Finally, if you are travelling during Lent, check to see when the Colmar Carnaval is being held. We personally did not enjoy the noise and the crowds, but we weren't expecting it since we didn't know about the Carnaval before travelling.
This is not a hotel. It is so much more! A beautiful home and Rachel made us feel like royalty! Her breakfast was the most beautifully presented meal, that included home made breads, jams, honey from her family's hives, strawberries from her back garden and so much more. We became friends and her hospitality set the bar for an amazing stay. A 10 minute walk and you are in Petite Venice in Colmar / short walk to the train station. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful town in this stunning home.
This was definitely one the nicest hotels in our 2 week journey through Switzerland and France. It was accessible from the train station (though a bit of a walk), and check-in was smooth and welcoming. Staff throughout the hotel were very courteous. This property is obviously quite new and it exudes luxury. Our room was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony with a view of the park. It was easy to walk from the property into the historic area of Colmar. Breakfasts were excellent.
This hotel is conveniently located near the city centre of Colmar. The hotel is basic, and the rooms are small, but the price reflects this fairly. Yet, it has a parking (8 euros per day), a lift and separated toilets and showers in the rooms. It is located on a busy road, but the windows are pretty soundproof. The buffet breakfast (6.60 euros), while simple, is certainly adequate. The staff are pleasant.
The staff was very friendly and explained everything (map, keys, ...) thoroughly upon arrival. The location was perfect. We remained parked at the hotel for the duration of our trip and we're able to comfortably walk towards the center of Colmar. The breakfast buffet was perhaps the best part of our stay. They offered many delicious options. Overall, a lovely accommodation for a great price.
The staff were non-typically superb. Because we were staying Sat, Sun Monday, I asked that the hotel booked 3 different restaurants as for differing reasons these evenings can be a bit tricky in France. Excellent results. Initial reception was first class, they made a real effort to make you feel " at home". Breakfast was well presented in a very comfortable environment.
Property is near train station, but still pretty much close to the center.
Receptionist are so kind, especially Alexandra.
She helped us with all informations about Colmar and places that we can visit.
Breakfast in hotel was very good and delicious!
I truly recommend you this hotel if you are first time in Colmar and you want to explore Alsace.
We stayed in this hotel for one night only. Location is great, right in the heart of Colmar. Room was spacious and well-equipped. We arrived in the afternoon to a very hot room despite AC (France was experiencing record breaking heat) but during the night AC was effective and it was comfortable to sleep. Front desk staff were very helpful.
Staying at Les Suites 1902 was the perfect way to enjoy Colmar. Sophie and Nicolas were absolutely wonderful hosts, made great suggestions, and served one of the most delicious breakfasts we had in France. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay at Les Suites 1902 again. Highly recommend!
Easy to find, clear directions. Good, on site, free parking. Beautifully decorated for Easter. Friendly, helpful & professional staff. Spotlessly clean & modern rooms. Short walk into the centre of Colmar, which is absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was excellent, a buffet with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, quiet, the beds comfortable, and the shower great. It has a great location which makes it easier to go to Colmar old town and other places around. As we were driving, the parking lot there was super convenient to us. Great price for value!
The host is one of the best that we’ve had in France. Very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The apartment is ideally situated in central Colmar and having a parking space was incredibly helpful. Also for those looking to buy wine….there is an excellent wine shop across the street.
SUCH a charming hotel that really did exceed my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and the hotel is just really cute. It's easy to wall there from the train & then to get into the picturesque parts of Colmar. There's also a parking lot out front if you're driving in.
Amazing apartment, it had everything! Me and my husband had 2 week vacation in France where we stayed at a few places along the Alsace wine route - this was the best accommodation we had by far! I would highly recommend it!
I can’t brag enough about this property. The location is perfect especially if you are coming in on the train. if you are driving it is much easier to drive in this neighborhood versus other towns in Southern France.
Extremely comfortable hotel, perfect location in the centre of Colmar. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, enjoyed overlooking the Lauch within Petite France.
Excellently located holiday apartments, about a 10 minute walk to Colmar centre. Comfortable accommodation with a separate kitchen area. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Location is 10/10 you can walk to everything, everyone is speaking English (first hotel I stayed in France that people spoke English), beds were excellent.
Location was perfect, 20 minutes walk to centre of Colmar. Room was comfortable and clean. We would stay here again. Car parking available at the hotel.
