My wife and I were made very welcome by the owners and later had a splendid meal in the Hotel. We had chosen the Hotel
because of its proximity to the Voie Vert cycle track. As we were between Dijon and Macon hotels on the route are very welcome. The room we were given was very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was good and the storage offered for our bikes was excellent.

The breakfast variety was excellent, including good cheeses, ham and salami.
Lovely garden views from the breakfast room!
The hotel is well positioned for visiting Cluny, and despite being fairly close to the railway, was quiet.
The reception manager was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is an absolute gem in the gorgeous town of Cluny. We only wish we had been able to spend more time there. The hotel has a real old fashioned eclectic arty style. Our room had a photo and quotation of Oscar Wilde who I happen to love. The bathroom especially was very luxurious. The whole room was decorated beautifully with a comfortable bed and extras like water and tea and coffee. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and there was a lovely dog boodling around. There looked to be a fine dining restaurant which we would love to have tried but we just popped out for a bite to eat as were looking for something quick. Cluny itself was stunning with beautiful old buildings and charming streets. We would love to return.

We liked the quiet vicinity in the village and it was only a foot walk to the famous and historic Cluny. The appartment was very well equipped and had its own sitting place outside. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull. They gave us tips and a map of Cluny.

Gorgeous town with lovely small streets, shops and cafes. Great whether visiting the abbey or not. This is a perfect place to stop on the route from south of France to Paris and we will stop here again next chance we have.

The Abbey, although largely a ruin is nonetheless remarkable and well worth a special trip to this small, historic town which is easy to walk around and has a lot of charm. The history is well explained in English as well as French and gives a good impression of the Abbey’s great past. We had a superb meal in the Potin Gourmand, with fine wines by the glass.

Terrific small town in Burgundy with a good selection of restaurants and amenities. I did not have time to properly explore some of the sights and the heritage of the town as my stay was en-route to my final destination. But I will return to spend more time at Cluny.

The town of Cluny was a comfortable size to explore and find one's way around and was well served for bars and restaurants. The Abbey was simply awe-inspiring. The remaining, almost golden walls, testify to the vast scale and importance of Cluny through so many centuries. I found the wooden models in the Abbey itself very helpful in visualising the lay out of the buildings and would thoroughly recommend a visit.
The B&B is in a good central location in Cluny. It’s a very old house which has been sensitively refurbished. Its thick walls kept it cool on hot days and there’s a small garden behind the property. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfasts were good, and there was iced water in the fridge (essential in the heatwave) as well as kitchen facilities we could use.
Very charming building in a corner of Cluny, within walking distance of the town centre and the sights. The Comfort room was excellent, super bed, quiet at night. Delightful decor throughout this quirky building. The staff were universally charming and helpful. The restaurant is expensive; we rated the cuisine 7/10. But it was nice to relax and have dinner beside the fireplace.
