Friendly ownership, interested in what I was doing. Room simple but very clean and effective, excellent and clean bathroom I used the hotel as a starting point for cycling the TMV and I was allowed to leave my car in the parking.

The hotel is quite new and I particularly liked the interior design. The rooms are gorgeous. Because there are only seven rooms, the service and interaction is quite individual. For example, there is no breakfast buffet, rather you are served at the table. The host, Dorian, chatted with us and gave us idea for things to do in the area. The hotel is in town but a bit on the edge which is more spacious.

I chose to stay in Climbach because of the hotel's favorable rates and because of the village being the site of a World War 2 battle that involved a decorated African-American unit of the US Army. What I discovered upon arrival was an exceptionally friendly and accommodating host and a wonderfully peaceful town. I can't let slip by the opportunity to say that the home-made croissants served by the hotel at breakfast were perhaps the best I have had anywhere in the world!
Climbach is a cute, small untouched town with very little amenities like store, gas station, restaurants but our hotel had a meal room where you can reserve dinner for your party to enjoy. The set meal was appetizer, entre and dessert. The cuisine was very typical german, rumpsteak, porkloin.
