Absolutely foul. Woke up to cigarette smoke coming from airvent, toilet seat split, noisy hotel inside and out. Maid barged in my room while I was still there with 2 hours before check out. Could not wait to get out of the place. There are some better ibis hotels down the road. I would avoid at all costs.

About 6-8 mins drive off the motorway, I liked the gated car park, good for large vans like mine. Food was good and moderately priced. Great decor, room was comfortable.
The room was small and basic but it was clean. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. The room had reverse cycle air con which was very welcome because Mâcon was freezing when we were there. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They helped us so much with organising taxis despite us knowing very limited french. Breakfast was yummy, locally sourced and they even cooked waffles to order. I highly recommend Fasthotel Mâcon.
We stayed in the twin-bed room with disabled access on the ground floor. It had everything needed for a short stay. But, the best about this hotel is the restaurant and personnel. At last, a gourmet restaurant that lived up to its name. Great food and service. The continental breakfast was also very good. The public rooms of the hotel were all very tastefully designed. Secure parking on site was an added bonus.
An excellent hotel with a friendly and professional team in charge. We stayed at Le Moulin du Gastronome for an overnight stop on our journey home. The hotel is easy to access from the motorway and in a quiet setting so we had a very peaceful night. The room was well presented and very comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
