I booked this accommodation for the first two nights after my arrival in Bastia to let all the stress of the journey fall away from me. I really liked the quiet location, the friendly contact with the landlady, Marie Dominique, and the historic surroundings, so I can recommend the accommodation without hesitation. The room, the furnishings and the hospitality completely met my expectations. The villagers are very friendly and open to short conversations.

La Marlotte was the perfect spot for my husband and I to spend our last two nights in Corsica before taking the ferry from Bastia to Toulon. A unique accommodation nestled in the mountains, with astounding views, incredible decor, and renovations, but most of all, amazing hosts Frederick and Christof. They made us feel right at home. We laughed and shared stories. Breakfast was delicious! We loved Shiva the dog. We even took her for a walk with us one day. We miss our dogs and it was so nice to have some furry company.

Allthough the location of the appartment was beautifil high up in the mountains in a very quiet village, we were disappointed
about the time to check in ( 1700 !!! hours) , the absence of Wi-Fi , the wellcoming and when we checked out on time (10.30 hours) we received a mail 5 minutes later to remind us to check out on time so the cleaning lady could do her job.

Jerome’s place was awesome! Super chill vibes and amazing food. Our kiddo had a blast, and we totally loved the way he renovated the place. Can’t wait to come back!
Campana is great for hiking and cycling. The scenery is stunning everywhere you look. We walked up a mountain called San Patrone which is accessible at U Magu Restaurant. Very handy for a beer and food when you descend. The views from the top of San Petrone are breathtaking and thoroughly recommended.
Travelling up the mountain though is not for the faint hearted especially going round bends on very narrow roads. Fortunately when we went there wasn't too much traffic on the road, unless you count the cows and pigs which just seem to room free and sometimes lie on the road - because they can. Lovely to see!
