Loved it ! City centre is well preserved with paved streets and stairs allowing you to move around easily and reach the Port where there are plenty of bars and restaurant with a stunning view over the sea and the mountains. Beaches are 5 mns walk from the port. Calvi has managed to keep its authenticity throughout the years and is a perfect location for a long week-end escape !

We were there early November.
We were there early November. Not ideal time of the year, it was sunny though! Property is in town near the water,, in downtown. Can walk to citadel, shops, restaurants, the marina. Lots of shops and restaurants were closed: next time I would go in May, June or Sept, Oct.
The whole area is beautiful!

We loved Sun beach and hired sunbeds right on the beach under the restaurant for 3 days. The village was very cute with interesting shopping and great restaurants. We also enjoyed walking around the small harbour. Calvi has a fabulous supermarket (Super U) along the main street opposite the sea. The views of the mountains in Calvi is nothing short of spectacular. We also enjoyed the 30 min drive along the coast to L'lle Rousse and found a little pebble beach all to ourselves. A week is definitely not enough time in Corsica

Charming little place where the port joins the town and there plenty of good restaurants to choose from, the old town is pleasant to walk through and we found the people very friendly. Its all very pretty plus threes a good Citadel as well.

Lovely old town and harbour and marina with bars and restaurants but expensive. 9 euros for 500ml beer. Main courses mostly over 20 euros plus
Not easy for people with mobility problems as steep round the citadel and harbour.
Not much choice for vegetarians except pizza pasta and salads. A nightmare for vegans!

Calvi is a small fortress citadel surrounded by shops and restaurants and everywhere is walking distance. Everyone spoke English but were kind about my schoolboy French. Lots of beach and restaurants on the beach easily accessible by walking the beach or the boardwalk set back by the small train line. Diving trips and boat cruises abound (our sunset cruise had dolphins !!!) as well as tours into the mountains to visit picturesque villages. We had an evening concert in the Cathedral of Polyphonic singers, very moving. Try the local train to get to beaches along the northwest coast, very relaxed.
Very nice and quiet hotel located between the Calvi airport and Calenzana in a residential area. We arrived early and spent our time at the pool for a couple of hours until our room was ready. There are actually two pools and the pool area is nice and relaxing. Our room was also very clean and spacious. There's the SPAR Acapulco complex with a supermarkt and a small bistro within walking distance (10-15 mins walk).
The hotel offers a great pool area on a rooftop with view over Calvi and the whole bay. The hotel even has a sauna and hammam which is convenient on colder days.
The breakfast is quite good with fresh baguette and croissants from the boulangerie next door . Cheese and ham also good.
The bathroom is fairly new and comfortable.
All in all good value for money.
The location of the hotel was perfect. Both the town centre/harbour front and the beach were easily accessible by foot. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and included a balcony with table, chairs and sun loungers. There were two swimming pools, indoors and outdoors.
Nice quiet location on outskirts of Calvi. About 15-20mins taxi ride from start of GR20 (Calanzana). Walking distance to beach and small train station for the local train between Calvi and L’lle-Rousse. Nice small swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved the location, right in the center of the old town and close to beaches and historic sights. The staff were very helpful, especially Maria, who was there when we checked in, and helped us every way she could. The view from our room was great, and there were lots of restaurant options nearby.
Our room was not big, but the balcony had an amazing view. Also, the room display was very comfortable . Breakfast was ok, everyone was nice, parking was easy and always available. Very quiet small hotel, up on a hill, no noises. Swimming pool was good and peaceful. Amazing beaches.

The hotel was in a perfect location to enjoy all that Calvi has to offer. Everything was in walking distance including a beautiful beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store and the harbour with citadel. Calvi is a lovely place to visit whilst in Corsica.
Handy to Calvi for an evening out, and to L'Île Rousse for the ferry. The cabin was clean and well-equipped, and the staff on reception were lovely. Perfect for an overnight stay on the way through, and the beaches closer to L'Île Rousse were amazing.
Nice mobile home, good location for a stay of a few nights. Great food at the restaurant. The beach right at the campground is not that great, but the surroundings with the forest are very nice.
