The room was bigger than I expect for an Ibis. There is a restaurant attached, with McDonald's next door, lots of options for meals. The bathroom made me think of a spaceship, which was fun; the shower was good. The public area on the main floor was comfortable, and they would get you coffee or tea if you asked. Parking was plentiful. Public transportation is not far and made it very easy to get into town.
The second night, the restaurant was changing their menu, and we were invited to taste-test everything for free. It was excellent, and an example of how friendly and accommodating they are.

Friendly receptionist, spoke good English and showed us location of room, where to get an evening meal and drinks nearby.
Quiet location on a trading estate, so it appeared. Easy no fuss check in, and we were shown where to leave our room key as we were leaving very early next morning to catch ferry. Shower was good, beds reasonably comfortable. Room was clean.
So quite efficient and satisfactory. Large car park for parking our 2 motorcycles. Large bar area/breakfast room.

Room was spacious and clean with no outside noise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was very good and filling with so many courses.
Confy Hotel, well decorated, staff friendly and helpful, room with beautiful view for sunset, sound proofing, spacious. Perfect Shower. Breakfast with all you need for another day visiting the beautiful village of Caen and the sad history around. Nearby you have fast food restaurant or just grab something in the supermarket for dinner. Loved our stay and absolutely recommend it.
We liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff were very helpful. The gates were closed at 11pm which we were happy about as we had dogs in the car. Also liked the Courtpaille being attached to the hotel.
