The receptionist (or better put: hostess) was really welcoming and thoughtfull. Gave all the info that you ll need and also was not hesitent to help out with other questions (in my case: where to eat).
Besides that (also very important) the room was really spacious, clean and suited with everthing you ll need. Even an airconditioning that can cool like a fridge.

The location, the peace and tranquility. The lake was very close, the beach was 10 minutes away and I especially loved the lake which is dog friendly and beautiful with some sandy beach areas-ideal for swimming. Also the pool was great and large. It's a golfing place as well so a lot of men off playing golf and plenty of space by the pool. Lots of wonderful cycling tracks in the area, absolutely fab cycling. The balcony was a joy to sit on in the evening, play chess and have a cool glass of cremant! Loved the stay there. we will be back!
The hosts - wonderful people and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast brought to our terrace every morning, and a fantastic swimming pool in the garden. The Ecolodge is an amazing, unique and exclusive accommodation set in a private and exclusive location and perfect for couples. Private parking and space for bikes. Perfect location - walking distance to the beach at Biscarrosse lake and a short driving or cycling distance to the ocean. Great cycling routes and golf course minutes away. We had a wonderful week there.
