convenient location on the outskirts of bergerac, perfect for an overnight stay if passing through Bergerac (plentiful spacious parking). Comfortable, clean room with extremely lovely and helpful owner and his staff. Good bar and restaurant, with continental breakfast served individually 'with a smile' as we say in my country. Outside open hours, one does have to be able to use codes and possibly call the owner upon 1st arrival (as advertised.) 10- 15 minute walk to amenities and the sites.

Bergerac is a lovely place, very old and the people are lovely and friendly. A few days is ok without a car but for any longer, I would say a car is needed to get the most out of a trip there. The local taxis are good but can be expensive and Ubers basically don't exist there so don't try to order one to pick you up from the airport as we did. Literally everywhere is closed on a Sunday, which we weren't prepared for. It's not a very good place for Coeliacs, no gluten free food in any of the supermarkets we went in and restaurants weren't that helpful. We did find a lovely Indian Halal restaurant called Jardin De Kashmir, which provided delicious GF food.

Such a beautiful quaint town to visit with its architect and character, the river is stunning for a sunset and watch the swallows. I recommend a walk to the Lac De Pombonne to spot wildlife, watch the waterfalls and stop off at the cafe. Unfortunately the weekend we arrived was a local bank holiday so everything was closed, the tourist information was open one day as well as a couple bars but overall too quiet with no atmosphere. I would like to return when its busier. The tourist train and river boat tours looked popular on the day we arrived. Walk to Jean Jaures park to see the gardens, beautiful flowers, small play area and pond with fish, free toilets here too. We also took a train from Bergerac to Sarlat for a day costing about 20euro each return. Transport in and around Bergerac is very difficult and needs some attention before you go, the airport is very small and no one around to assist. Pre book bus 48 hours before or pre book a taxi as too many people waiting.

Nice old city but nothing to do shops closed Sundays and Mondays. No buses from or to the airport taxi service is next to none waited hours to get one even if you book in a advance they don't turn up. Not a relaxing experience wouldn't recommend. And it rained constantly.

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit.

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit. Lots of interesting architecture and local culture to explore. There is quite a big street market held once or twice a week. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. A very welcoming tourist destination.

    The town is beautiful.

The town is beautiful. There are many shops, and beautiful architecture everywhere you look. There are some of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The people everywhere are very friendly and everyone seems happy. It was like walking around in a painting. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings. Nice bars and restaurants. We found opening times of restaurants and shops unpredictable. Enough to do for a few days. Nice river trip and prebooked taxi from airport was convenient.

It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Bergerac. Located in the old town, near the river, the house is amazing, luxurious comfortable and very quaint. The hosts are both amazing, they do their very best to make you feel welcome, they are very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The room we stayed in was exceptional, we had a four poster bed that was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and with great local products. This is a real treat and my husband and I feel very lucky to have stayed there.

Nick and Jenny were super hosts. The accommodation is superb, the room tastefully furnished and bed super comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous and the shower was the best we had in our 11 previous days touring France. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of freshly prepared fruit, crossiants, cheese, meats and a huge pot of fresh coffee each. Would definitely recommend staying as only a short walk along the banks of the Dordogne to the old town of Bergarac but in a quiet location with parking directly outside.

This was the best apartment that w have stayed in and we usually do two trips a year in France and Spain. The decor was very tasteful and modern , there was nothing at all that you could want that was missing , even supplying adaptor plugs .Netflix was available on the modern tv , a beautiful , very private garden area surrounded by mature trees, a pretty pool area , a ten minute walk in the morning to the nearest shop to buy fresh croissants , So close to Bergerac town yet quiet and peaceful .

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The young woman who met us at the door carried up our wheelie bags and provided great suggestions for visiting the old town and where to have dinner on a Sun. The rooms and common areas are lovely and very nicely decorated. We were only there for an evening but really enjoyed our stay. The location is great for exploring the town. Thé only thing that could give pause is the bathroom and toilet are for all 3 rooms to share.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town, under 4 minutes walk from FREE parking. Perfect situation to enjoy numerous restaurants, we counted 8 within 200m. Apartment is extremely comfortable with good quality furnishings and all essentials for our stay. Very comfortable bed, good heating if required on cooler nights. Our host Sophie in good communication before during and after our stay. HIGHLY recommended accommodation right in the centre of Bergerac.

Perfect location just 10 mins walk from old town Bergerac. 5 mins walk from train station and 5 mins from the big Intermarche. The staff were so kind and helpful; arranging our taxi to the airport (arrange a taxi to collect you in advance- they aren’t waiting!), providing maps, and towels to use by the beautiful little pool. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room was made up daily.

The hotel is clean but must have been renovated long long time ago. The rules are correct and clean really not very stylish. The pool area was very nice. The hotel is located in three minutes walking distance to the centre which is very convenient. We also like the fact that for €10, we had a secure parking spot. The hotel looks more like a one or two star hotel

It is a fairly standard airbnb style accommodation, clean and moderately central - its location is quite close to the town centre (15-20 mins walking) and the area is quite quiet at night. Bergerac is a good base if you are driving to other nearby towns e.g. Saint Émilion, Issigeac, Monbazillac etc. (Shame I didn't drive).
