It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

A nice small town made famous by the taking of the Benouville Bridge by the British Airborne glider section in WW2 (renamed Pegasus Bridge for the badge of the regiment). Excellent museum and visit the local cemetery as many WW2 British soldiers who were KIA rest there.
The restaurant at this hotel is superb. We have stayed and eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend. Have never had breakfast as always leaving early to catch the ferry home.
It was a perfect overnight hotel for us as we arrived late off the ferry (Ouistram/Caen). Ferry was later than expected yet the hotel was still welcoming and even served us a couple of well needed cold beers!
Hotel was nice. When we arrived at 20.30 hours, the kitchen was just closing, but we were still able to order some food, for which we were grateful. It was nice and close to Ouiestreham ferry port.
The location is very convenient for the ferry. I arrived late but that was no problem.
The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel is dog friendly. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet.
