The house was in a quiet street close to the town, with parking available outside. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. On one evening cooking us a meal. They also took the trouble to drive us to mont St Michel.

Delightful small town with small shops and cafes. Loved the modern tapestry exhibition and the book garden in the castle. Saturday flea market was great to walk around- stopping for cakes and coffee.

Lovely small town with several friendly restaurants and a lovely local museum. Definitely a good place to relax in a beautiful boutique hotel and explore the locale. There was easy parking in the town centre and a friendly tourist office with good local Recommendations
This was an excellent base from which to visit the Mont St Michel and surrounding area. Don’t miss sampling the locally brewed Calvados!
Although we had been in the area previously, we had difficulty getting there quickly this time due to lack of and poor signage for Marcy les Greves. We were coming towards Avranches from the south and ended out on the new road towards Granville. Very frustrating and could be improved, We don't use Satnav.
The actual hotel is vey unique and definitely different - the owners clearly love the style etc. WE found it a little overwhelming!

A fantastic find! Large 1 bedroom flat in a beautiful historic home with a lovely private garden to enjoy the outdoors. The house is located in a very peaceful area while being close to the centre of Avranches. It was a quick walk to the shops and parks. There is a tranquil pasture overlooking the sea offering gorgeous views of Mont Saint-Michel! Very child-friendly with the closed back yard and children’s books and games available in the flat.
The owner/proprietor was very kind and helpful, and very accommodating. I arrived very early, and she let me place my things in my room while I went to explore the town center and she finished cleaning and preparing the room for my stay. The location is within easy walking distance to Avranches city center.
The host is a wonderful lady. The place is beautiful, large and very comfortable. The rainshower is amazing! The garden looks like it has been plucked out from a country magazine, and the best part is you are allowed to use it! This place is a great value for money, and Avranches is a charming little town.
Perfect location to explore Avranches and Mt. San Michele. Tourism office has tickets available to the Mount. And bus info. Easy to get there by bus 1.90€ each way.

The room was comfortable for me, my husband and our two sons. The hotel is on a Main Street so it was very noisy- trucks seem to pass by all night! But the beds are comfortable and the room is clean and the breakfast was wonderful . Overall we were very happy we stayed there.
Lovely little studio apartment situated in the centre of Avranches old-town. Just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Supermarket close by. Great if you're looking for just a base to explore the wider area.
The room was a decent size and comfortable with ample parking at the back of the hotel. The Interior of the reception area is very nice as is the restaurant. The menu was varied and the food was very good. Breakfast options were limited.
The only advantage of the hotel for me was a nice lady working at the reception desk who, despite the late evening agreed to make delicious drinks after a long journey, tasted perfect. She also spoke English well. Give her a raise 😊👏🏼
Everyone was very helpful, we had had some problems and needed to buy unusual things, good advice was given.
In future I would request a room at the back of the hotel, as for a small town the road was astonishingly busy
This is a lovely property in the centre of Avranches. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The manager prepared a lovely breakfast with freshly cooked crepes. It is an excellent place for a stopover when travelling.
Set in a quiet location, Three bedroom house with all the facilities required should want to self cater. 15 minute walk into the centre of Avranches.

We were arriving at Gare d'Avranches, and it rained. Our host picked us up - exceptional service, not once have we experienced comparable friendliness.
