Great location close to centre of town and just a short walk to the port where there was a variety of really nice restaurants. We were upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost. It was very clean.

There was no coffee as the machine was broken. We were not offered a refund for the breakfasts I bought. Very mean.

The apartment was very well equipped and was, as described, right on the square overlooking the harbour. It was lovely to open the windows each morning and watch the place come to life. We would visit again.

Auray Saint Goustan was a truly magical, ancient, small Breton town situated beside the water. Eating a delicious dinner overlooking the colourful vintage fishing boats and the old stone bridge in the setting sun was an image I want to lock in my memory box forever.
The huge and rambling Auray market day on a Monday morning is definite must for a market lover!

Auray is a nice little town.
Auray is a nice little town. I particularly like Saint-Goustan where I used to go with my family when I was a child. Nice little cafés, restaurants, nice walks. Look out for artists and enjoy the old timbered houses.

The walk along the quayside at St Goustan takes you past the picturesque small harbour, with boats drying out at low tide to the modern bridge and beyond. The bridge is worth a closer look as you can see the thick steel pin that allows for expansion and supports the entire structure.Across the water Auray itself has a good scattering of older buildings mixed with the new.As a base to explore the Morbihan region it would be hard to beat.

Auray is a wonderful old town with a super Monday market.
Auray is a wonderful old town with a super Monday market. It should not be missed. We enjoyed the small cafe near the Halles for a breakfast of coffee, juice and croissants. it was fun wlking about the town both on market day, and on other days when shops were more accessible. Auray/St Goustan is a super headquarters for short day trips to the coast, to Canack and its very interesting paleolithic stone rows and burial mounds, and to Quiberon beyond. If you like FRESH oysters, try the oyster farms that have retail sales.
The location is great, just in front of the charming Port Goustan and the pedestrian center of Auray. Plenty of nice restaurants just next to the building. The famous market of Auray is also easily accessible by foot. The apartment is quite big, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, also for sea food meals. The washing machine and the dryer are a plus. The apartment is very well situated for a hike/trail by the river with great views. The public parking spots are at a 5 minutes walk.
The house is situated in the perfect location for visiting Saint Goustan and Auray. Everything is within easy walking distance. Parking is in the nearby streets and we had no trouble finding a spot.
There is an apartment upstairs and two rooms downstairs. We booked one of the downstairs rooms which was lovely. It is spacious and tastefully decorated and overlooks the courtyard garden. The bed was super comfy with good quality bedding.
A really charming place for a holiday. On a beautiful street in the heart of Auray. Unique, historic old building - loved the turret bedroom. Lovely courtyard and sunny garden. Auray is such a fabulous place for a holiday and works well if you want to use public transport rather than drive. Right on the GR34, easy bus journey to the coast. A great location for a family holiday with teenagers.
The apartment in St Goustan was truly superb: very clean and very spacious in a quiet street with secure parking. It was just a short walk to the heart of the old town (Le Port St Goustan) and easy to continue from there up into Auray itself. It was also very conveniently located for travelling around the whole area. Good value for money. We'd certainly use it again.
Hotel was lovely. Good communication about the fact the reception was closed and information provided about breakfast and access to the hotel. The room was a comfortable size - space was used well and perfect for the 3 of us. The breakfast was delicious. Found a nice pizza restaurant close by for dinner (Le borselino).
Although it seems like the hotel is a bit off the beaten track, the location allowed us to walk to Auray and Saint Goustan while leaving the car in the hotel parking lot (it might have been a 20-30 minute walk?). The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. We would stay here again.
In a competitive market, this hotel is very good value for money. Comfortable, well organised, and excellent attention to detail throughout. My arrival was delayed and I also really appreciated the super clear instructions for me to get into the hotel in the middle of the night!
The buffet breakfast was good - perfect croissants! - and a selection of other items.
The hotel was good value for money. The location was close to the town centre and had a selection of restaurants only a minute away. The welcome was warm, helpful and friendly.
Nice staff, room was pleasant, clean enough, with all basic facilities. Breakfast was very ok - although the selection of food was limited, everything was fresh and tasty.
At the reception nice surprise - there is a cat in the hotel.
A hotel without charm, just functional and conveniently placed next to a movie theater and shopping malls (but a bit outside of the city). What made the stay good was the kindness and helpfulness of several of the staff members.
Auray was a great discovery... Where we loved to old city centre and port (though small).
From here we did several excursions in the region.
The hotel was what we expect from a Best Western: simply good / clean and comfy.
Impeccable small hotel, so comfortable, run by a lovely couple who rightly take great pride in the quality of their visitors' experience. We hope to return.
