The staff were very friendly and polite. My partner is vegan and I had asked them to provide a vegan option at the breakfast buffet, which they did. We really appreciated this. In addition, we asked to have a thermos filled with warm water and they helped us with that as well. The location is right in the city center next to a parking, so you can come by car and then walk everywhere.

Small hotel very close to the train station. The hotel is also a block away from the main pedestrian area with many restaurants and stores. The staff was very welcoming and friendly even though language was a barrier.

We arrived late but a quick phone call got us inside and into our room. We found this a charming, character-full hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. This visit (my second to Amiens) Day 1 started at the Saturday canal-side market, lots of stalls with seasonal vegetables, fruit and herbs grown in the Hortonillage and the Somme region. Then I dipped into some shops - including an inspiring visit to the ground floor of the big Monoprix where clever lighting makes quite ordinary day to day food look irresistible, some of the many new and secondhand bookshops, a huge ironmongers and an over-the-top patisserie. In the afternoon, to Jules Verne's house: a wonderfully, eccentric building; full of marvellous furniture and objects, very well curated. I spent the whole of Day 2 (7 am - 4 pm at the extraordinary - huge - Spring Braderie. I found that my visit to the Jules Verne house, and its thoughtful interpretation made the market especially enjoyable. Many of the stalls had examples of the things I had found so interesting in the house - for instance archeological finds, including flint axes, found around Amiens; corals and shells; endless examples of oil lamps (some working, other 'do-er' uppers). Many stalls had very good pieces of ceramic from different periods and cultures. Lots of the stall holders were up for a good bit of haggling. Then a glass of beer in the sun-shine ,sitting on the street outside a cafe, buzzing with laughing locals and visitors.
Amiens is a very walkable city, its buildings are fabulous. It's lively and very clean.

Lovely old town centre and especially the cathedral. Well worth a look around. Nice cafes. Parking was initially a problem as large town centre car park ticket machines did not work. We got a side street machine which worked fine.

Amiens is a small city, and perfect for walking.
Amiens is a small city, and perfect for walking. The cathedral in particular, is spectacular, but it's not the only place of interest in, or around, the town. St Leu, and Les Hortillonnages, plus Le Jardin des Plantes, are well worth visiting and, of course, many of the WW1 sites are within very easy reach, by car.

The old town around the canals was the most interesting along with the cathedral in the central square near to the Tourist Office.
Some lovely waterfront cafes. Free bus transport on Saturdays on a simple, easy to understand network.
The staff were very helpful, you felt they were always happy to help. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is secure with a fob to get you in the main door if there are no staff on reception.
Location of the hotel is very good, maximum 15 minute walk from the centre of town and all of the attractions.
Amiens itself is a lovely place with plenty to do. It is also a fairly short drive away from other nice towns eg Beauvais.
Very convenient and good value stopover enroute to Calais with our dog about 30mins walk outside Amiens centre. We had a ground floor room with garden terrace and enjoyed the late evening sunshine. Room is basic but clean and has all you need.
We caught a bus into the centre - it was free! - and enjoyed the magnificent cathedral and a lovely evening meal (so much choice). Then an Uber back to hotel !

Very friendly hostess (Julie) who was always looking to go the extra mile. Some of the best service we received in anywhere we stayed on our trip. The room has most things you would need and the breakfast was exceptional and cooked freshly to order. The bed was very comfy and extra things like a tv with access to smart subscription content was a nice touch too.
Staff were very helpful and curious, even when some spoke very little English and we French. But we persevered 😁. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Plenty of storage and well equipped for a longer stY. We stayed 2 nights, 1 each way in our travels to South West France. Location was superb. We will be staying here again. Perfect for our family of 5 plus 🐕.
The location was good and the staff very helpful. We did the valet parking which worked really well. The spa was outstanding and definitely worth doing. it was state of art and a great way to spend a relaxing couple of hours. Amien was a great place to end our tour of France and a very easy 1.5 hours drive to Calais to get the shuttle back to the UK.

Fantastically located on 200 m from the cathedral (but no noise at night whatsoever) as well as 200 m walking into the pedestrian city centre. Park your car at the Parking Amiens St Leu Cathédrale (you cannot park at the hotel), it's a 3 min walk to the hotel and it cost us 7 eur for the 16 hours we were there.

We would single out the excellent decor, the terrace looking on the Somme and the 10 minute walk to the largest Cathedral in France. Quality Restaurants on the Quai are 5 minutes away. We liked being on the ground floor too.
This is a gem of a hotel in an excellent location with everywhere in walking distance. It is quirky in a good way, loved the style. Tea, coffee and sweets available all day at no charge. Good breakfast, and good service. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

the cool funky facilities , the central location , the staff are super friendly and helpful , it is close to the station however I can’t hear any train noise at all ( my room was facing the rail ) . the parking lot is just opposite the hotel
