It was such a wonderful experience to stay at this beautiful place. The house and the garden look way more lovely than in the photos. Mayenne is beautiful (we had a share in a family cottage nearby) so we know the area well. Le Mans is not too far away lovely old walled town and pretty shopping lanes to explore. Mayenne has a lovely town square and river where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere. A really pleasant area.

The woman who runs this hotel could not be nicer. So lovely! It is an easy walk into the village. The breakfast is good with coffee and pastries, yogurt and orange juice; and the food in the restaurant for dinner is delicious. I highly recommend the fish with risotto! This hotel is a super value.
