The hotel, located close to the downtown area, is less than a 10-min walk from the city centre, the cathedral and the Tarn river. It has its own, free parking; there's also a lounge and outdoor terrace, and at the reception you can order simple dishes. Proprietor did not provide key until 2330. He did not answer my call at 1930, and did not call back. I had not heard back from him by 2000. It was getting dark so I rented another room. He sent a text at 2130, after nightfall and after I had rented another room. I called again at 2300 and was told that there was a key in a lockbox. I returned to the location and followed his instruction but there was no key in the keybox.
He was good, though, at taking my money.

Beautiful old city with a wonderful history. Spectacular cathedral, well preserved old architecture. Exceptional restaurants and bars with great service, can't recommend Le Vent des Anges highly enough. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here to attend the Pause Guitarre Festival and we were really surprised on how beautiful is Albi. Honestly, I did not expect anything like what we saw in the last 3 days. The centre is lovely and full of independent shops, and restaurants and cafes'.
we had lunch in a very nice seafood restaurant near the cathedral, fabulous!! Toulouse Lautrec museum is amazing. surely i want to come back to see more.

Albi is a fascinating town with a great history. The covered market is outstanding, with fabulous shops and places of interest to visit. There are a number of small villages nearby which are interesting as well as the Toulouse-La Trec exhibition. The church is really interesting inside and worth a visit. Excellent restaurants.

What a wonderful and beautiful city. Not only wonderful places to visit with fascinating history but just a wonderful environment to walk around. Some beautiful places along the river. Well worth a visit
The accommodation was absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi strong, the shower hot, and breakfast was absolutely delicious and filling with a regional touch and little variations every day. The hosts were lovely, made me feel very welcome and helped above and beyond. I will surely return and I already look forward to my next visit. Thanks so very much to Marie-France for her advice on what to visit and where to go as well as her lovely anecdotes. She and her husband made this stay special in the best way.
This is a charming house located about 7km outside Albi. It is an easy run into the City Centre. The property enjoys a peaceful location with a nice garden and pool. Didier is a very pleasant and helpful host. I very much enjoyed my break here for a couple of days, enjoying a couple of days off from travelling. The house has everything you need including an excellent BBQ and nice pool.
I am wrapping up 6 weeks in France. This may be the best value of my stay!This is a sweet property with sweet people working here. There is no lift so if you can’t climb stairs don’t book here. My room was super clean,quiet and very very comfortable. It is a 10 minute walk to the cathedral but without the hassle of being in the old town. Wonderful!!!

We loved the location of this apartment on the 6th floor of a 13th century building in the heart of medieval Albi. Spacious, extremely well-equipped kitchen, terrace looking out over the City. Magnificent views of the Cathedral. Ines was very helpful, with restaurant and other recommendations. Wished we could stay longer.
Villa Caroline was a very nice place to stay in Albi! The small family hotel offered good, personal service and a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was nice and made of local produce. The owner was always prepared to assist with advice and answer our questions. The outstanding view was a great plus!

It was a most spectacular spot for a hotel overlooking the river and the vieille ville d’Albi. It was so close to everything and the sound of the water coming over the weir was beautiful. It was close to the La Perouse museum where I spent an interesting hour.
The adjacency to the world heritage, that Albi Cathedral is just outside the west window of this room and you could enjoy this excellent view of the east exterior wall of the Cathedral, is absolutely the greatest value of this room.
