Situated right off the Cours Mirabeau so excellent location for the town. We had the slightly larger room which was fine; bed comfortable and plenty of space. Not much light and noisy pigeons if you kept the window open at night. Only toiletries supplied was shower gel - no shampoo, conditioner, body lotion.
Reception staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

For me, Aix-en-Provence is a little bit overrated.
For me, Aix-en-Provence is a little bit overrated. It's nice, but I would not say is really charming. Students are everywhere - and that's nice, they are enjoying bars and adding a good vibe. Other than this, some areas looks dead - maybe is just because the vacation season did not started yet?
Anyway, overall, for me Avignon is better than Aix

Nice city if you can access it.
Nice city if you can access it. We took the local train from Marseille and no taxi showed up for over 45 minutes. We finally walked to the hotel, which wasn't easy after a 3+ hour train ride. Just be prepared ahead with taxi co. phone number...Great town for foodies and drinkers..Three days are plenty. Plan excursions out of town to make the best of the area.

Aix-en-Provence is lovely.
Aix-en-Provence is lovely. Excellent restaurants, shops, marchés, sites and museums. The core of the old town has medieval charm. There a beautiful squares and the Cours Mirabeau Is lined with plane trees, shops and resturants/bars/cafes.
There are a lot of sites to see related to Paul Cézanne. His atelier is worth a visit. Where he painted his beloved Montagne Sainte-Victoire from the Terrain des Peintres.
Aix is an excellent location to visit Provence from. Within two hours drive one has all of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur to visit.

The city was busy and some streets were to narrow for the car we rented. Some signals were confusing about narrow streets endings!
The hotel was very enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to relax and enjoy nature. We could stay longer.
We had great conversations with Christopher. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. We were able to wash and dried our clothes at no extra cost. He even packed for us some goodies for our trip.

Aix was a beautiful and historical place.
Aix was a beautiful and historical place. Every corner is breath taking. It is a stress free environment. We just wondered on foot and enjoyed every minute of it.
Buses to various different places such Avignon is within walking distance in the historic area and the schedule is very frequent. Kiosk personnel are friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed the markets and was able to purchase a Provencal table cloth sewed by a local lady.
Equally enjoyable was people watching while dining and enjoying Rose (the specialty of Provence) in an outdoor setting by Aix main street, Cours Mirabeau

A great place to visit, steeped in history with plenty of restaurants, bars and individual shops in the old town.
Visited Cezanne's studio and soaked up the atmosphere.
Ate amazingly well.........however it appears that the local French have forsaken their own native cuisine for Italian as there are no end of Pizzerias and burger establishments.
Search and you will find. Probably the best filet steak I've had since living in France for the last eight years was at the 'Cafe Grillon'....excellent fare.
Parking is a nightmare and the roads surrounding Aix at peak times are to be avoided.
A brilliant place for a long weekend........leave the car behind as you won't need it whilst there.
If you do take your car, take a trip to Remy de Provence and Cassis. You won't be disappointed.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and we were so glad to have followed up on her advise. We really loved the spa. The weather had just turned rainy and cold so we didn't use the pool, but it was lovely and inviting to look at. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had a desk and a small round table with a plant which made it feel homey. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Parking was almost on-site, very reasonably priced for Aix. Staff were friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning.
Service was above and beyond what we expected from a boutique hotel. Diana at the front desk was so helpful with all of my questions, our driver Matthieu was accommodating and delivered a brilliant tour of the Luberon and Marseille with lots of gems along the way. Staff has been exceptional and the rooms are all very comfy. Location was also super convenient and close to the city center and public transportation . Highly recommend anyone considering visiting Aix to book their stay here.
Location is a must of course since at the beginning of the "historical" and "lively" area of Aix. I got a room at the back so noise from nearby Pubs/restaurants/people was clearly not an issue. It was also very close to transportation which is also a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate considering the price but one notices that the hotel building as a whole is rather old by now (but everything worked in my bedroom, no complain whatsoever except for Wifi...)
We loved the peaceful location. The grounds were very pretty and the pool was clean and lovely to have a swim in. The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we'd especially like to thank Yoanne for all his time and help.
It was also great that the bus stop is right by the hotel and that the buses come so frequently - plus, it's only a few minutes on the bus into Aix. All in all, this hotel was perfect for us!!
Cafe de Paris Hotel was delightful. The location is incredible ( the hotel is part of a restaurant) and as you step out you are in the heart of Aix. The nicest part was the friendliness of the staff . Carla made us feel very welcome and went out of her away to bring us coffees whenever and Sufiyaan was very helpful too. All The staff here are extremely hard working and still cheerful. Our bedroom was cleaned and tidied immaculately each day.
This was a gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds and a fabulous restaurant. We travelled with our dog who was very warmly welcomed and it was great to have the gardens for him to enjoy. We had a very nice room and enjoyed the pool and bar area too. It is situated near to the centre of Aix, although we didn't walk it because it was too hot, but driving a parking in town was very easy. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Lovely old building in excellent location central Aix. If you want everything shiny and new this is not for you but if you enjoy traditional provencal ambience this is perfet. You have everything you need in a hotel, good bed, proper bathroom, window that can be opened for fresh air (air con for summer), nice breakfast room. Breakfast nothing spectacular but very correct. Helpful and friendly staff.
Modern, trendy hotel, with stylish, large, functional, room. Attractive bar / restaurant / lounge / outdoor terrace area. Small (but functional) swimming pool (towels provided). Secure underground parking for reasonable fee (€10 / day). Helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast looked excellent (though we didn't have).
Hotel is within an easy, flat, 10-15 minute walk of the centre of Aix.
the property is in a good location, easy walk into the historic centre of Aix en Provence. The front staff were very attentive at check in and directed us to a safe lock up location for our bikes as we were on a biking holiday.
Good breakfast room with good breakfast offerings although the lay out of the buffet could have better flow to eliminate a lot of going back and forth.
A superb hotel right in the centre of Aix en Provence. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. We stayed in the suite on the top floor which was magnificent with lovely views of the lush garden and environment. Margherita, Anthony and Ines were really welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay in this cosy B&B, most of all because of extremely friendly and caring hostesses ❤️ As other visitors early described, this is not a (soulless) luxury hotel, but a home-like experience. Wonderful french breakfast, great advices for restaurants, sights and activities. It all made it easy to enjoy the stay in Aix and around!
The hotel is ideally located in Aix-en-Provence city centre, walking distance from all attractions. It has a private parking which is really convenient. It also has a spa, which unfortunately I did not have the time to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Good price for such a quality.
very Interesting concept located at 15mn drive from Aix, rooms are cleaned and modern, a lot of activities are available, volley, swimming pool, etc…
the hotel is located in the middle of nature.
very good value for money overall especially in August…
On arriving at the Best Western Hotel, the receptionist was very helpful in providing information regarding our room
and parking within the Hotel.
We appreciated the breakfast which was complimentary. Rating: 6/10
Fully furnished kitchen, large hotel room. Very conveniently located if you’re driving. Quiet residential area on edge of Aix city centre (10-15min walk to Aix town centre). Close to university if you’re going to the ANOM.
The hotel is located on top of a hill, 20 min by car from Aix en Provence with easy access to highway. The hotel has great sport facilities and very large grounds including a swimming pool. The focus is on sustainability.
Lovely courtyard was especially appreciated when the sun was hot in early September. We found the hotel very clean. Fabulous staff. Only one short block to the old town. Excellent location.
Hotel was superb! Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone visiting Aix. Room was great and rooftop drinks were lovely!
